Kabocha Squash Sourdough

Santo Pane's Halloween edition: our Classic Rustic dough with kabocha squash, naturally leavened and shaped in lobes like a pumpkin. The kabocha gives the crumb a deep orange color, moisture and a gentle sweetness, and the color comes from the squash alone. The crust is thin and dusted with flour. Available only during Halloween week. Great toasted with butter, with aged cheeses or alongside a soup.
